The program assists parents to asses their knowledge, skills, and resources needed to ensure positive child and family development.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the New Beginnings program, the following must apply to you:

  • Western Racine County or Sturtevant resident
  • Parent with a child who is 0-5 yrs. of age
  • Parent with the desire to learn more about parenting
  • Parent interested in your child's social, physical & emotional development
Fees  

Participation in the program is free.


 
 

How to Access Services

Contact the New Beginnings home visitor at the Western Racine County Health Department by calling 262-763-4926 or 1-800-688-4930. The home visitor will meet with you to assess your needs and plan future visits. The home visitor will be there to give you support and information along the way.



New Beginnings is a voluntary program. You can discontinue your participation at any time by contacting the home visitor.



New beginnings ensures that each family's rights are protected and the program respects the need for confidentiality.
